Wings take centre stage at The Wing Republic – although it also serves burgers, ribs, and an impressive mix of sides and drinks. The restaurant is very laid back, with beer garden-style wooden tables and chairs on the pavement under umbrellas, making it the perfect spot for after-work drinks and a light meal. The building is what draws one's eye – artist Karabo Poppy has painted the outside of the building with astonishing black and white patterns, making it the perfect selfie backdrop. The Wing Republic’s Insta account has also been perfectly curated to showcase the relaxed and fun community vibe offered by the restaurant – check it out @thewingrepublic. Wing Republic also hosts regular music events with live DJs, and incredible food and drink specials. Guarded parking available at R20.
